This is the only whole day in Switzerland, very cycling friendly place, will definitely come back when I have more dollars in the wallet!
Arrived in Lausanne early, found the lake, its beautiful – the alps on the otherside, snow on top if the mountains and small towns at the bottom around the lake
We followed route 9 which is parallel to the lake and all the way to the places we want near the italan border
The whole route is pretty much flat, and the road is good and there are bike lanes on all roads, perfect for time trial. Saw so many minted cyclists with top of the range gears!
Last mile up the camp site was very hard, I think we might climb a few hundred meters in altitude! The food at camp site was man size! Which is perfect after whole day cycling!
Sounds awesome lads. I’m very jealous of the decent food, shame about all the cycling though. You guys are smashing it, you’ve only been a couple of weeks! China isn’t going anywhere you know.
